Alpha Live are excited to announce that they will be heading to Buckmore Park this weekend to bring you coverage of the returning Buckmore Park 24 hours.
The event, which was first held in 2019, will put teams up against each other in the circuit owned 390cc Sodi karts across 24 hours of racing and will take place on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th April 2022.
Andrew Mather (of Double Dash Motorsport Media) and Kieran McGinley will be behind the microphone for the event.

'My first job was at Buckmore Park in race control, so Buckmore Park is very close to my heart.' said Kieran. 'To return to commentate on a special event such as the 24 hours is very exciting. It is always tricky to know what to expect from a 24 hour event, but what we do know is Buckmore Park has a climate of its own at times and the race could be turned on its head depending on whether the forecast is to be believed or not'
Alpha Live will be live-streaming the whole event, night and day, so that you will not miss all the crucial moments.
'Let's be honest, who doesn't love a 24 Hour Event?; continued Kieran. 'The live stream coverage allows for teams and drivers to have a memory to say “I was there”. It's a memory to create when you finally cross the line after completing thousands of laps. To have that for the drivers to relive that whole episode is essential, and backing it up with the coverage wraps up the team experience regardless of the eventual result. The live chat also always spectators to be part of the event without the requirement to be at the event physically'
'And for us commentators, we get to be a part of all the teams' journeys (good and bad) as they make a charge for the chequered flag. Every lap, every turn, every mistake; it will all contribute to the final result. I cannot wait to get stuck in and see how it all unfolds.'
The Buckmore 24 hours live stream will be available on the Alpha Live website and Youtube on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th April 2022.
